Description

Circumnavigating Mt. Hood is a thing, circumnavigating it from sea level, starting and finishing at the Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks, well, not so much. This is part 1 of 3 of the Tamanawas 1-2-3-Hundred Challenge, which consists in circumnavigating Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, and Mt. St. Helens from sea level, starting and finishing at the Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks.

The LolliHood route starts at the Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks, heads south on the PCT until it hits the Timberline Trail, circumnavigates Mt. Hood (clockwise or counter-clockwise) on the Timberline Trail and the PCT, and then ends at the Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks again. The route is about 102mi long and has about 22,277ft of elevation gain.
