Pine Creek Loop

I'm often asked where do I train for hills as Bundaberg is so flat. Well 20 km from Bundaberg is Pine Creek Hall a great starting/finishing place for a great run with a car park and a public toilet amongst towering gum trees for shelter. The loop starts and finishes at the Hall and along the way offers changing trail and landscape. It offers bitumen road, dirt road, trail and a few creek crossings after recent rain.

The trail follows pine plantations and through natural forest to the top of some small steep climbs which offer great views. Kangaroos and lizards, cattle and horses keep you company along the route with an abundance of bird life. A magical escape from the city and a great few hours well spent running in our beautiful countryside.
