Josh Lyle posted this 66-mile road run & FKT:
On August 9th, 2014 I plan on running across Carteret County, North Carolina. I will start at the Eastern-most point, which is at the Cedar Island Ferry, and run West along highway 70 and 24 to the Cedar Point/Swansboro Bridge, which is the Western-most point of the county. From what I can tell know one has ever attempted to run across Carteret County before, especially not in the dead of summer. This will be 100% on asphalt roads or concrete sidewalks.
I will be supported by a crew and will have pacers from time to time. My dad, wife, and other friends will be in a truck either following me with flashers on to keep me safe from traffic, or will be driving ahead setting up mini-aid stations every few miles.

Please advise if I am missing something important in order for this FKT to be considered legit on this board. Thanks for your time.
