Description

The route to Santiago de Compostela via the north side along the coast for 844 km. People walk this route as pelgrims to pray and find spiritual enlightenment but more recently runners found their way on this path. While regarded by many as “not the true way” of travelling to the holy church, it is considered by many runners as the way of finding actual enlightenment by testing the body as extreme exhaustion and fatigue play a major role.

Heyo!

I will start my FKT attempt for the Camino del Norte on August 10th, 2023. It will be self-supported, and I will be camping along the way. I will be posting daily updates on my Instagram "paschi_scheel" and on my Strava "Patrick Scheel".

Just finished the complete trail this morning (August 25th) at 11:20AM. Adding up to exactly 15 days 3 hours and 35 minutes. Will submit it soon. Hard but worth it.
