Route: Sellrainer Hüttenrunde (Austria)

The Trail through the Sellrain and Stubai Alps starts in pretty alpine-rose-strewn terrain, impressing visitors with its scenic beauty and cosy mountain huts. Potsdamer Hütte Hut, Westfalenhaus, Pforzheimer Hütte, Schweinfurter Hütte, Bielefelder Hütte and Dortmunder Hütte provide accommodation on this circular hike with 80 kilometres and around 5900 metres in altitude. Most of the trails are moderately difficult to challenging. Gentle walking trails meandering through magnificent landscapes alternate with challenging crossings along this trek, which is rounded off with rewarding summit ascents. Schöntalspitze peak is the highest point of this long-distance hike at 3,008 metres above sea level.
