Route: Smithville Lake: Smoke & Davey - Cabin Fever (MO)

A fun friendly route with great views of the lake!

The route starts as soon as you exit the parking lot at the Smoke & Davey trailhead at Smithville Lake and ends at the parking lot for the Cabin Fever trailhead. To connect the two trails you run on the road for about a mile starting at Camp Branch Marina (from approximately miles 12.5 to 13.5).

The trail is paved asphalt with some bathrooms at various campsites. There are great views of the lake. This is one of the longest trail systems in Kansas City. From Smoke & Davey on the north end, the hills are pretty steep and continue for the first 10 miles. The last 12 miles are moderately hilly with some flat sections.
