Description

This route roughly follows the V3K race route with some differences.  It starts in Abergwyngregyn on the North Coast of Wales and rises up to the summit of Drum.  There are 5 more summits of the first leg before dropping very steeply down to Ogwen cottage.

Next is a scramble up the Devils Kitchen to traverse the Glyders.  Follow the miners track down to the valley and then a short climb back up and over the tarn to Pen-y-Pass.

The Pyg trac on Yr Wyddfa (snowdon) is next on the cards so avoiding the crowds, reach summit.   Descend via the Watkins path and have a dip in the pools on the way then at Nant Gwynant, turn left to go along the Llyn.  The next ascent is Moel Siabod.  At this point in the day, Siabod will look like it had grown an extra 1000 metres but in no time you will summit.

This is followed by a lovely descent to Capel Curig before heading over the low pass and all the way down to Trefriw.
