Description

In the South West of The Peak District can be found the most dramatic natural Gritstone scenery, not just edges but gorges above rivers, cascades in rivers and unique fauna such as the Staffordshire Wallaby or flora such as the Mountain Pansy.

This "14-400's" circuit is a high level route on England's watershed, centred on the Staffordshire village of Flash which claims the highest village in the Kingdom, and links the valleys of the Manifold, Hamps, Churnet and Dane. Between these are the highest points in N.E. Staffordshire, such as Round Knowle, Hen Cloud, Roche End and Oliver Hill.
