The Lužnice Valley Trail is the first Czech hiking trail to receive the prestigious European certification Leading Quality Trails Best of Europe. It was thus ranked among the best tourist routes in Europe. It will take you through the deep valley of the Lužnice river, past old mills and ruins, and the historic towns of Tábor and Bechyně.

The trail through the Lužnice valley starts in Planá nad Lužnicí and ends beyond the confluence of Lužnice and Vltava in Týn nad Vltavou. The total length of the trail is 55 km.
