Description

The yellow route is located in the southern part of Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska and is one of the longer routes marked out in this area. It measures 89.5 km and stretches between the villages of Chrzanów and Pieskowa Skała.

The name of the trail comes from the many charming valleys and gorges along the route. Many of them have limestone rocks of up to 100 meters high, characteristic of this region. The attractions of the Jurassic Valleys Trail are therefore mainly natural, although there are also castles (Rudno Castle, Bibice Castle, Pieskowa Skała Castle), the Wygiełzów open-air museum and many religious objects (eg Czerna Monastery).

Most of the roads are forest and field roads, but there are also asphalt sections. Most of the trail is well marked, but it's better to have a gpx track with you.

The trail is easy to follow in a self-supporting style, due to shops in larger towns.

Good luck and have a nice adventure
