The adventure begins in the remote village of Tachedirt.
The route climbs steadily for around 800m towards Tizi N’Tachedirt. The trail is straightforward and easy to follow, rewarding you at the pass with breathtaking panoramic views over both the Imnane and Ourika Valleys.
From the col, the route descends towards the villages of Iaabassen and Timichi, passing through beautiful traditional mountain scenery. As the gorge narrows, the trail climbs back up to the road, where a dirt track leads to Agadir N’Ait Boulmane. From there, the remainder of the route follows a tarmac road all the way to Setti Fatma, a beautiful place to relax after the effort or to catch a taxi back to Marrakech.
