Description

Three Brothers Mountain via Heather Trail is a 19 kilometer moderately trafficked out and back trail located in Manning Park, British Columbia, Canada. This route starts from the upper parking lot of Blackwall Road in Manning Park, starting the route off in the alpine at 2000m above sea level. This route features beautiful wild flowers, within the park it is rates as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, camping, and backpacking and is best used from May until October due to late snow melt and early snowfall. There is a narrow ridge but no scrambling required.

The route starts with a descent to the camp ground and then the first climb up to the meadows. After a short meadow run the trail leads to a ridge that is followed all the way to the right turn up towards the summit.

The trail is an out and back, but in the last 500m the trail splits to the right (instead of the left where you would have come from), this is the only variation from the route out due to 1 way trail use for the Viewpoint loop.
