Description

The Tiny-Wasaga Beach side trail is a connected side trails of the ~500km Ganaraska Trail.

The Tiny Trail starts with approx. 14km of rail trail, followed by the beautiful Tiny Marsh Provincial Wildlife Area before running on country roads into Wasaga Beach.

The Wasaga Beach section includes beach running along the Georgian Bay shoreline, forest running through the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park with both conifer and deciduous forest, and spectacular views of the Nottawasaga River and ancient sand dunes. The western part follows a farm track through fields and meadows, limestone paths through Stayner and ending in beautiful views of the rolling countryside near Glen Huron.

The Tiny section is approx. 25 km, and the Wasaga Beach section is approx. 50 km for a total of 75 km side trail. It is well marked with white blazes.

The map for this side trail can be found on the ONDAGO app.    A map of the overall trail system is here:  https://ganaraska-hiking-trail.org/?page_id=23
