Description

Start at Top Spur trailhead off Forest Service rd 1828-118 on the northwest side of Mt Hood. Take the Top Spur trail #785 to the Timberline trail #600. Proceed on the Timberline trail to HO Rock above the McNiel Point shelter. From HO rock go cross country on across the Sandy Glacier till you meet the Yokum Ridge trail #771. Descend the Yokum Ridge trail to the Timberline trail, turn right heading towards the Muddy Fork. Continue on the Timberline trail back to the Top Spur trail and then finish the route by going back to where you started at the Top Spur trailhead.

Not to be mean but knowing the area this route seems derivative - a shorter, easier version of better routes that exist in the area? Does anyone else see this as an issue with new routes and this site, there needs to be a way for users to rate or rank, or am I the only one?
