The Wyoming Range NRT traverses the full length of the Wyoming Range from south to north, connecting the South Piney Trailhead near Big Piney to the Bryan Flat Trailhead outside Hoback. This 80-mile route runs primarily above treeline through remote, rugged alpine terrain with significant sections of off-trail navigation and extensive blow-down fields.
The route begins at South Piney and climbs through lower elevation forest before breaking above treeline into open alpine country. The middle section encompasses the heart of the Wyoming Range, running above 10,000 feet with expansive views and complex navigation through rocky terrain and intermittent trail.
