Route: Hollywood Legacy (CA)

This route takes you past ten major Hollywood studios in Los Angeles from the valley through Griffith Park into the heart of Hollywood and to Culver City or, of course, in reverse. From CBS Radford, past Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Walt Disney Studios, Netflix, Paramount, CBS TV City, Fox, Amazon (or Culver Studios) & Sony.

The stucco walls of studio lots hold sound stages where film and television creators have made your favorite characters and worlds come to life for the last century. This route was created in May 2023 during the WGA writers’ strike as a way to support the collective action of our Hollywood labor movements.

Sara Price, a film & television writer, will be running the route along the picket lines in June and wanted to create a challenge for Hollywood writers, directors, producers, actors, teamsters, IATSE, and other workers in film and television. 

Of course, the course is open to everyone interested in creating a Hollywood legacy!
