Description

The Franconia Ridge Loop is a popular, 8+ mile route in the White Mountain National Forest of New Hampshire. It is accessed from Franconia Notch Parkway near the Lafayette Campground. The route goes by the Greenleaf Hut and summits Mt Lafayette (5240'), Mt Lincoln (5089') and Little Haystack (4780') on Franconia Ridge, see map below from sectionhiker.com. The FKT has been held by Michael Caron, Ryan Welts, Kevin Tilton, Ben Nephew, Kale Poland and now stands at 1h42m18s by Kanoa King, November 8, 2017.

Sébastien Roulier did 5 repeats of the Loop in 13h51m on March 8, 2020, alternating clockwise and counter clockwise.  Total of 65km - 6500m elevation gain.
Loop time of 2h28, 2h31, 2h40, 2h47 and 2h50.
