I will be running this route on Wed 7th Apr, planning to start at roughly 0600. Originally intended as a Self-Supported attempt, this will now be a Supported attempt due to the new guidelines that state any spectator will result in the attempt being classed as Supported. I will be carrying all of my food and spare kit for the day. I will be collecting water at 2 points along the route. I was going to stash these prior to the attempt but will now simply collect them from my friend along the route. I will be recording the whole attempt on Strava on my phone. Due to battery life issues i will be using separate GPS watches for the first and second half. I will submit all of these files, along with photos, and a trip report, if my attempt is successful.

I will be running this route on Monday the 7th of October 2024, I plan to start at 0300. This run will be a supported attempt, and I will be recording it on my Suunto watch and a Garmin In Reach which my partner will be using to track me. If my attempt is successful, I will submit both of these GPX files, photos and a trip report.Â
