Description

"The Way, devised to mark the Queen's Silver Jubilee, connects the Leicestershire Round at Burrough Hall Country Park with the Viking Way at Woolsthorpe by following a meandering course, passing through Melton Mowbray and across pasture and woodland and past old ironstone workings near Eaton before climbing through woods to Belvoir castle from where there are fine views over the Vale of Belvoir. The waymarked Mowbray Way (9 miles and included on OS mapping) from Scalford on the Jubilee Way provides a second link to the Viking Way at Buckminster."

A beautiful well groomed footpath with plenty of bridleway sections. A great trail for your weekly long run or a day out hiking.
