Route: Mount Perry (CA)

Starting at the bronze topographical map at Dante's View (5475ft), follow the ridgeline north to Mt. Perry and return using the same route.

Trend left/west past Dante's Peak and possibly a few tourists before dropping into the first saddle. Dance through a rocky section and keep traversing until about 3.5miles, where the steep scree and tricky talus take over. Trend right/east for the past half mile and push past a few false summits to reach an informal register at almost precisely 4.5miles.

Turn back and finish at the sculpture where you started. Then, enjoy the views of Badwater, Telescope Peak, and the rest of the spectacular park!
