Mount Hoffmann is a prominent peak in northeastern Mariposa County in the center of Yosemite National Park, California, United States.
Mount Hoffman Trail is a 5.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Yosemite Valley, California, that features a lake and is rated as difficult. Start at the May Lake Trailhead located at the parking lot. Follow the May Lake trail for roughly one mile until you reach May Lake. Cut across the high sierra camp and follow the trail / herd path to the left of the lake until you reach a scree / boulder field. I don't believe that there is a maintained trail and because there were cairns scattered all over the place, it is basically a free for all until you get to the top of Mount Hoffman. Tag the satellite / electric box and send it back down to the mountain until you get back on the May Lake Trailhead.
