Description

The Sandlings Walk is a footpath running from Ipswich to the seaside town of Southwold in Suffolk, UK. Approximately 55-57 miles in length, it is mainly inland and passes through the towns and villages of Woodbridge, Snape, Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Walberswick and the RSPB Minsmere nature reserve. The trail is a mix of heathlands, forests and river paths with a section along the beach between Sizewell and Dunwich. At Ipswich the path splits into two, meaning that there are two alternative start/finish points at Rushmere Heath and St Augustines Roundabout.
