The Wedge is an epic destination run about 3 hours southeast of Salt Lake City. It consists of roughly 16 miles of trail on the edge of a Grand Canyon-like cliff. The trail is not technically difficult, but does have some rocks and roots and does get close to the cliff at times. You'll be rewarded with endless views the entire time.
I was looking for a late season getaway and saw this FKT still up for grabs. While I'm not a particularly speedy runner I think I'll give this FKT a go. I get out of work early on Friday so if I make it out there on time I will run the route on Friday evening (11/3). Otherwise, I'll run it on Saturday (11/4). Looks like a super cool area and route. I'm really looking forward to it.
