Description

The Lake Ouachita Vista Trail (LOViT) is a wilderness hiking and mountain biking trail along the southern shore of Lake Ouachita. It travels up, down and along mountain slopes through a mixed hardwood and pine forest, opening up at several places to spectacular views of the lake before you.

Did some research and couldn't find anyone's times who'd done this, so decided to give it a shot myself. I'm sure it can be completed faster, especially in better conditions, so hopefully this will inspire some new attempts/bring out some times I couldn't previously find.

My wife Laura and I will both be attempting the unsupported FKT on Sunday morning.  We will be starting a few minutes apart so as not to run together.  We are starting at the Avery trailhead and heading West.
