Laramie Peak is the most prominent, and highest, peak in the Laramie Range. It served as a visual guide for settlers on the Oregon Trail, due to the fact it can be seen from Nebraska. It tops out at 10,275 ft elevation with a prominence of 3,312 ft. The trail is a 4.7 mile route that steadily gains about 2,700 vertical feet to the top.
We (Scott and Tiff Sink) will be making an attempt on Saturday, June 13, 2020.
Great time for the Sinks! I got on today to create the route and lo and behold someone beat me to it. Great job you two.
Great time for your up and back! We were trying to put Wyoming on the map.
