I’ll be attempting the out and back, November 27. 2020.
This attempt will be solo and unsupported.
On the one hand, I have a broken toe, a sprained ankle, and two bad knees. On the other hand it is going to rain like hell on Tuesday turning the trail into a sloppy, muddy, horrific mess. And as such it is now or never. Tomorrow I will attempt a solo, unsupported one way effort starting at East Fork and heading around the loop counter clockwise. Wish me luck! I'll post the results to my Strava feed.
Completed. Saw a couple of live deer and one dead one. Took 16 oz of Infinite speed and one gel. Took one wrong turn before HP. Geez.
