Description

Dan Kraft submitted the North Ridge Ascent route.  Note that there are several other trails on Marys Peak (our map below shows a Loop utilizing the North Ridge and the East Ridge).

"Mary's Peak is the highest peak in the Oregon Coast Range. At 4,097', it is one of the only places where one can view both the Pacific Ocean and the Casacde Volcanoes. Its summit is also the only alpine environment in the Coast Range. The North Ridge is the standard route on the peak, gaining about 2300' in a little over 4 miles."

Hello! Mountain runner from North Carolina here.

Ran the Marys Peak loop variation today and it was a beautiful and a hard effort. Thanks to Steven Wagoner for establishing and to both Steven and Benjamin Americus for their perspective from previous efforts.

51 minutes to the picnic table and 1:39 for the whole loop.
