Description

Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, with an elevation of 5,895 meters above sea level (MASL). There are several routes to climb to the top of the Kilimanjaro, with the most popular ones being Marangu, Machame, and Lemosho routes, each varying in distance, elevation, and scenery. There is also the possibility of doing the Northern Circuit Route, which literally goes around the Kilimanjaro through its north side.

Green Lane Reservoir Loop (PA)

Description

11.6 mile looped route starting from the center of the main Green Lane Park lot where it intersects with the Perkiomen Trail. Started north to connect with the Blue Trail across Green Lane Rd and Hill Rd along the SW side of the reservoir in a clockwise direction.

Made a hard push from here for about 30 mins staying on the blue markers of the trail along the way. Connect Blue Trail to the Red Trail at the furthest point north, then hug the reservoir as you follow the red markers until mile 7.

The Southbound route from Canterbury to Hythe.

A beautiful way to see the Garden of England. This route winds through various arable and livestock farms, from village to village starting in the heart of Canterbury City Centre to the South Coast Town of Hythe. The trickiest parts are the two golf courses as the public paths disappear among the meticulously kept grounds. Along the rest of the route signage is fairly well posted and routes maintained throughout the year for easy access.
