Lone Peak is 11,253' in the Wasatch Mtns, just outside of Salt Lake City. This peak can be accessed by several different routes, but Jacob's is steep and direct with a class 4 scramble to the top. The ascent and round trip via Jacob's Ladder Trail have Strava segments.

This Route Via Ghost Falls is no longer possible. The section right at Ghost Falls is now Down Hill Mountain bike only (they also reclaimed a section of trail to regrowth). They have also established a new trail that bypasses the famous Jacops Latter segment due to erosion. The Trial is now longer and has a new starting location at Pineview Trailhead.
