Description

The Fundy Footpath is an iconic and challenging trail that extends from Big Salmon River to the Fundy National Park Headquarters in New Brunswick, Canada along the Bay of Fundy coast. The new, official route distance is 64.3-km. This change was released in the 2021 Fundy Footpath Guide Book. The old distance was 41-km, with the trail ending at the Goose River (Fundy National Park border).

Tomorrow morning, April 27th 2024 the three of us. Mark Hemmings, Marcus Rogers (MarcusRogers100) and Colin Swift (ColinSwift) will be attempting the updated 64km 2021 Fundy Footpath FKT, starting at the Fundy Park welcome center (top of the Alma road, and 64km later finish the FKT at the St. Martins-side Fundy Parkway welcome center. Our goal tomorrow morning is depart the Fundy Park welcome center between 3am and 3:30am. 
We are running this Unsupported. We are carrying our own gear, not sharing anything between ourselves, and no help from anyone, even delicious looking trail magic :)

This morning on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 6:30am I’ll be pacing Alexis Moffatt on the new Fundy Footpath route in an attempt for her to set the female supported FKT on the the route.

Starting the Footpath at 8:30am on Friday July 5th, from the St. Martins end running to Alma. Starting at the Big Salmon welcome center, ending at the Fundy Park welcome center.

Tomorrow, October 19, 2025, I'll be running unsupported for a west to east FKT attempt. I'll  begin at Big Salmon Welcome Center and end at Fundy Park Welcome Center in Alma.
