Heading out on a White Rim Loop tomorrow 02/18/2020... It'll be unsupported and it's super last minute (I don't even have a planned take off time yet!!). I'm just trying to take advantage of a change in my work schedule. Weather looks good so we'll see how it goes.

SPOT link is here: https://maps.findmespot.com/s/302R

All the best,

If things don't go too downhill by next weekend, (which is highly likely) I am planning to attempt an FKT unsupported (bc social distancing) on the White Rim Road.  I have a spot tracker and can send FKT guys the link to track.  Thanks, all. We shall see. Jennilyn and friends that have done this before me, nice work!

Ha! Late seeing this but yeah shit changed in a day. Anyway, needless to say I didn’t go. No one went anywhere. Congrats to recent female supported FKT. Still interested in an unsupported one. Trying to find the right time. Great work, everyone.

Hi everyone!  It looks like it's been a while since anyone has posted, so not sure if I'll get an answer - but I'm just getting a poll on the best time of year to attempt an FKT on this route.  I have been on the trail in the past around end of March (one time in horrible weather and one time in great weather).  But I noticed that most of the FKT's were set in the Fall time.  Any opinions on why that might be?

Hey! I’ve been eyeing this route for a while and am heading out for an unsupported attempt this Friday 12/6. I think shoulder seasons are probably best since it gets wicked hot and there’s more vehicle traffic during the summer? Feel free to reach out on email or strava and I’d be happy to share beta after - courtney b clifton at gmail
