Congratulations! Especially on going unsupported. Well done.
Thank you for the inspiring route! I was born in Austin and raised in San Antonio. I considered it a necessary pilgrimage and set off on Christmas night as a present to myself. haha I love the unsupported discipline and having access to water at the Guadalupe and Blanco  Rivers was critical for the run. (Get water on the East side of the bridge at the Blanco, the security at the mixing company questioned me and said I was trespassing when I went down on the West side near the park) Â

Hey everyone!
Tomorrow night I plan on attempting this FKT in a self-supported fashion. My family will be dropping me off at the Alamo tomorrow evening, and I'll be running all night and into Saturday, stopping at a few gas stations along the way. I'll be recording the run with my Coros Apex on Strava. Wish me luck!

Hey everyone!
I am also attempting this FKT in a supported fashion tonight. I'll be starting at 6 pm at the Alamo and will have my family supporting me along the way. Goal is to finish before 9 am!
Matt
I'll be recording on Strava and be providing frequent updates on my instagram @mfferro
How'd it go?
Good luck, Matthew! I actually switched my FKT attempt to the Northeast Texas Trail one, since the trailhead is only 30 mins from my house, and opposed to 4.5 hours like the Alamo is. Good luck tonight! That would have been crazy if we'd ran it at the same time.
Hey everyone!
I am attempting this FKT supported. I'll be starting at 7 pm at the Alamo.
