Description

"The Way links the historic open strays of York and some of the best countryside around the city crossing Hob Moor, Knavesmire, Fulford Ings, Walmgate Stray, Monk Stray, Bootham Stray and Clifton Ings providing opportunity to view the lesser known historic sites of interest in the City. The River Ouse is crossed by way of the Millennium Bridge."

East London Historic Canals (United Kingdom)

Description

Historical East London docks and canal route, essentially starting from Wapping overground station, originally built by famous architect Marc Isambard Brunel, and home to England's first Marine Police Force, which is still present here. The route continues along the River Thames to Limehouse Basin then along Regent's Canal to Victoria Park, River Lea then on to Tottenham Hale.
