Description

Uxbridge Rail Trail + Beaver River Wetland Trail is a 32.8km flat rail trail located near Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada, going to the Kawartha Lakes.  It starts in Uxbridge at the Restored Historic Trestle Bridge, travels along a river and wetland and intersects with the Trans Canada Trail in Blackwater, with portions that run on former abandoned railways.  Extremely quiet and lightly trafficked by hikers, cyclists and snowmobilers, there are very limited services close to the route except at Uxbridge, Lindsay, Sunderland, Cannington, and Woodville.

Part of the Coastal Crescent route on North Carolina's Mountains-to-Sea Trail, Holly Shelter is a 64,000-acre tract of wilderness used for hunting, hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing. It is one of the few tracts of land in coastal North Carolina where you can feel truly far from civilization.

Whether along the Albtrauf itself or from a distance with a fixed view - breathtaking vantage points are always guaranteed. The more than 113 km long quality trail and "Leading Quality Trail" Albtraufgänger leads through the wonderful adventure region of the Swabian Albtrauf. To the south of the Filstal, the Albaufstieg presents itself as a formative edge that rises steeply from the foothills of the Alb around 350 meters with the Wasserberg and the Fuchseck.
