Description
Bank Street is a major commercial street located in Ottawa, Ontario. It runs north from the Confederation building, turning into County Road 31 near Vernon and continuing south until Morrisburg. It made up much of the former King's Highway 31, and is synonymous with Ottawa's history and commercial activity.
Bank Street is one of Ottawa's longest streets and was dubbed "the spine of Ottawa" by CBC. It was previously known as King's Highway 31 with a slightly different route before becoming the street we know today. It's a major commercial road, with many local businesses.
