The route begins at the gate of the Gatineau Parkway next to parking P3. Follow the parkway until you reach Promenade Champlain. Take a left on the Promenade Champlain and follow Promenade Champlain until you reach the Champlain Lookout which is located about 1km after the Étienne Brulé Lookout. Once at the top enjoy the view and come back down the same way you went up.

The Champlain Lookout is the most scenic lookout in the Gatineau Park. Often closed to automobile traffic. The only way to access the lookout is by human power.

The Nine Sisters in San Luis Obispo county, California is a chain of nine volcanic peaks.  Only five of the peaks are accessible since the remaining four are privately owned and have no public access. The route requires climbing each of the five peaks in succession.  It starts with Black Hill in the western part of the chain and consists of an out-and-back route to the top of Black Hill and return.

The Kölnpfad is a 160 km long circular hiking trail around Cologne that was opened in 2008 and is divided into stages. The route of the Cologne Path was determined in 2007 and the route markings were completed in the summer of 2008. Hiking sign is a white circle on a black background, the sign for circular hiking trails around places in North Rhine-Westphalia. In some places you can find the Cologne Path logo designed by the Cologne Eifel Association, a rectangular marking in the Cologne colors of red and white with the black cathedral towers in the red field.

It will soon be 100 years since the current districts of Solingen came together to form a large city and one brand, Solingen, city of blades. Almost as old is the Klingenpfad trail, which was established around that time by the Sauerländische Gebirgsverein. It leads around Solingen and is almost 70 kilometres long in total. The average hiking time for the whole route is around 20 hours so it’s worth dividing it into three stages. The regular starting point of the hike is Solingen Gräfrath, but since its a round trip you may start anywhere on the track.

**The Isle of Mull Skyline: A Mountainous Ultra-Marathon Route by Caleb Andrew Nonhebel**

The Isle of Mull Skyline, created by myself, Caleb Andrew Nonhebel, is an ultra-marathon distance route stretching from the east coast to the west coast of Mull. This challenging 50km route encompasses every classified peak (Munro, Corbett, Grahams) on the island, making it one of the most demanding courses in existence. The route's difficulty arises from its nearly pathless terrain, rough Scottish ground, and relentless climbs, often starting from sea level.
