Hyssna is located in southern Västergötland in the municipality of Mark, about 45 km from Gothenburg.
Hyssna is known for its varied nature.
I the southern parts are cultivated landscapes with great natural and beauty values, but also deciduous forests and even a southern Swedish beech forest. In the north there are wilderness nature with large coniferous forest areas and mosses.

Pin-Chin-Sky, also known as the Skyway Loop, is a ~17 mile loop utilizing the Pinhoti Trail, Chinnabee Silent Trail, and Skyway Loop Trail, in the South Cheaha Wilderness. 3200’ vert. Numerous water crossings.

The Baker Trail is a 133-mile (214 kilometer) hiking and backpacking trail, following forest paths, old jeep trails, paved roads and dirt roads through woods, farmlands, and along rivers and creeks. The Baker Trail traverses six counties (Armstrong, Jefferson, Clarion, Indiana, Forest, and Westmoreland), is a state-designated hiking trail, and is included on the trails map of Pennsylvania.
