Description

The Ortler Höhenweg with 123km and 7650hm was opened in September 2018 and the route runs around the Ortler massif. A dreamlike path that can be done by normal hikers in 6 days. The FKT started at Trafoi in Solda, continued to Solda to the Düsseldorferhütte, over the Madritschjoch to the Zufallhütte, then to the highest point of the Casati Hut at 3269m, down to the Pizzini Hut and further over the Zebru Pass to the Rifugio Quinto Alpini. From there out of the valley to Valfura and from there to Lago Cancano. From there towards Stelvio Pass and back to Trafoi.

Albsteig (HW1) – Etappe 9 – Burg Teck bis Bad Urach

Description

(ENGLISH)
This is Section 9 of the Albsteig track, from Teck Castle to Bad Urach.
After the first and only climb of this tour to the ridge of the “Bassgeige”, one highlight follows the next. Viewpoints with impressive foresight prepare for the massive castle ruins of Hohenneuffen. The route mostly follows a natural trail along the edge/ridge of the "Swabian Alb" with some quite technical parts. The vantage point "Buckleter Kapf" and the hell holes worth seeing are then on this route before going down to Bad Urach.

Albsteig (HW1) – Etappe 8 – Boßler bis Burg Teck (Germany)

Description

(ENGLISH)
This is Section 8 of the Albsteig track, from Bobler to Teck Castle.
This diverse stage mainly leads over the Albtrauf with many beautiful viewpoints, the Ruinen Reussenstein, the Randecker Maar, the hill of the Auchtert, spectacular Breitenstein and the Ruine Rauber are along the track. The highlights of the route are certainly the view from the Breitenstein and the Teck Castle, which is located above the small town Owen. Sometimes the paths are quite steep and surefootedness is required, especially when it is wet.
