From the Sugarloaf Village, run to the summit and return
The route has been created by local communities in a unique collaboration.
It follows the legendary fourteen-day march taken by Dónal Cam O’Sullivan Beare and his one thousand supporters in 1603, and it visits many of the places and communities shaped by their story.
The Way runs almost the length of the country and takes the walker and cyclist to some of its most beautiful and least explored areas in Ireland.
This August, the pair went sub-4 days on the WRHR, a terrific 100 mile traverse of the Wind River Range in Wyoming.

Route starts in Goderich at the old rail station. Take the Goderich to Auburn rail trail until you hit the single track. Route mostly follows the Maitland River. Route finishes in Auburn under the Blyth road bridge. It is well blazed with some beautiful hills and terrain. It is 50 km end to end!
