The route is full of variety, passing through busy villages, but equally through quiet villages in the corners of Snowdonia.  Slate quarries, forests and empty mountains; the route has it all!

Der Lech-Höhenweg ist ein 1979 eröffneter Weitwanderweg in Bayern, der von Landsberg am Lech etwa in Nord-Süd-Richtung nach Füssen führt. Die Route folgt konsequent dem Flussverlauf des Lechs.
