Start at the hiking car park in Halblech. Ascent to the Hoher Trauchberg. First to the Sennalpe, then past the Hochrieskopf to the Wolfskopf (1526 m). Continue on the Lower Bleick (1580m). The Hohe Bleick (1638m) as a summit is of course taken along. Back to the Lower Bleick. On the descent, don't forget the short detour to the Hochwildfeuerberg (1545m). Then down into the valley to the Halbammer. The forest path leads to the middle back and ends at about 1300m.

The route runs along the Ice Age Trail in the Northern Kettle Moraine Forest starting at HWY P in Glenbeulah and ending at HWY 45 in Kewaskum. The route is roughly 33 miles long.
