Florida Trail (FL)

Description

The Florida Trail comprises of 1500 total miles  National Scenic Trail crossing the state. The standard route (west of Lake Okeechobee and east of Orlando) is 1,111 miles. The Florida National Scenic Trail is a congressionally designated National Scenic Trail. The USDA Forest Service is the administrator of the Florida Trail, charged with planning routes, overseeing development and establishing partnerships to complete the trail.
