Short Description: 
The Via Alpina Purple Trail is one of the five Via Alpina TransAlp Routes and is originally planned as long-distance hiking trail with 66 stages. It can also be used as a running trail through the Eastern Limestone Alps (östliche Kalkalpen), starting at the heart of Mt. Triglav, discovering the Karawanken, going through Austria and the Salzburg Land to Germany ending in Oberstdorf, Allgäu.

The Trans Canada Trail offers a wide range of activities through a variety of landscapes – urban, rural and wilderness; along greenways, waterways and roadways. Stretching 28,000 km from coast to coast to coast, it embodies the vastness of our terrain and the diversity of our people.
