Bondi to Manly is a route about 80km long that starts in Bondi Beach and winds through the iconic Sydney Harbour coastline before ending at Manly beach.
The Bondi to Manly Walk is the product of an unprecedented collaboration between Bondi to Manly Walk Supporters and the La Perouse and Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Councils; all six Councils along the Walk (City of Sydney, Mosman Council, North Sydney Council, Northern Beaches Council, Waverley Council and Woollahra Council); seven state agencies (Place Management New South Wales, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services, Roads and Maritime Services, Port Authority of NSW, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, Sydney Opera House and Taronga Zoo) and at the federal level, the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust.
The partnership to create the Bondi to Manly Walk was officially announced in Sydney on the 25 November 2018.
While parts of the route have always been around. The link up and route selection for was officially opened on the 8th of December 2019
