Route: Pachaug - Nehantic Loop (CT)

This loop follows the blue-blazed Pachaug Trail from its start at Green Fall Pond in Voluntown for 21.7 miles to its junction with the blue-blazed Nehantic Trail, which is followed for 6.3 miles to its southern terminus and junction with the Pachaug Trail back at Green Fall Pond. 

The route is generally well marked and well maintained but has several junctions with local trails and ATV paths where you could lose your way. It's more runnable than the average Connecticut trail, although there are some more technical miles on the Pachaug, especially north of Beach Pond. It has several nice water vistas with a deep-woods feel overall.
