    I am attempting the first unsupported FKT of the Rivanna trail on Sunday July 11, 2021.  I'll be starting around 6am from the trailhead at the Woolen Mills/Selvedge Brewing parking lot, and heading clockwise.

    I am starting my self-supported FKT attempt right now. I am at Crissey Fields on the CA/OR border going north. I will be taking photos frequently and have gpx tracking setup on my phone and smart watch - hopefully that is enough verification!!
