Dana Dobbins and I, Emilia Cameron just set the new male and female self-supported FKTs, respectively. We ran the route today–Saturday, April 4, 2020. I will submit my GPX track and Strava route, as well as pictures. I believe Dana will do the same.

Heading out for the supported FKT today starting around 11am with Amanda Basham on bike for the second half! Looks like a perfect day!

I set the FKT for unsupported category yesterday, 8:43, thanks to Stephanie for setting the route and thanks to the website for managing these FKT.  I'll submit a short recap and my GPX file.

Cheer, Brad

I attempted the FKT for unsupported female on 10/24/20. Finished in 6:51:38. So dang close. It was about 30 degrees, little wind and overcast. Fall colors just about faded. Saw mostly bike packing groups, especially near Blue Mound and other bikers, a few couples out walking their dogs. One of the tunnels near Epic was completely flooded out. It’s the one that I would normally look forward to reaching to use for cool water in the summer. I trained on flat but, quads weren’t having it.  https://strava.app.link/9rMPUNIvXab

I ran an unsupported female FKT yesterday 11/7/20. I have submitted my GPS files and am waiting for confirmation.

I will be attempting the Military Ridge trail supported female FKT today !Â
