The Leitrim Way
This National Waymarked Trail starts in Manorhamilton, the heart of Leitrim’s Five Glens. Starting here, you will head south, climbing quickly from the valley floor to the top of Boleybrack Mountain range where the remote mountaintop lake of Doolough marks the highest point of your journey.
Augustine Camino
Starting at Rochester Cathedral the Augustine Camino wanders through the orchards, woods and vineyards of Kent for 70 miles via Aylesford Priory and Canterbury Cathedral to the Shrine of St Augustine on the cliffs above the sea at Ramsgate. The route celebrates the mission of St Augustine to convert the English to Christianity, visiting many sites of global historical significance. It also explores stunning examples of art and architecture, from the medieval to the modern, including work by the masters of the gothic revival, Pugin, Butterfield and Gilbert Scott.
The High Country Loop
The ~170 mile loop explores some of the crown jewels of northwestern North Carolina- Grandfather Mountain, Wilson Creek, Linville Gorge, Mount Mitchell & the Black Mountain Crest, and the Roan Highlands (where it briefly dips into Tennessee). With over 35000 ft of elevation gain along the route, the High Country Loop is not for the faint of heart.

Coastal Alvar Red Loop
The Coastal Alvar Red Loop is located in Misery Bay Provincial Park. It is a large looping trail (following along the red blazes) that takes in the natural features in the eastern side of the park. It travels from the Visitor Centre, past old glacial beaches and dolostone pavements as it makes its way to the present-day shoreline. From there, the trail travels along the Lake Huron alvar coastline until it intersects with the Mac’s Bay Trail. At that point, the Coastal Alvar Trail turns north (left) along a glacial shoreline ridge as you make your way back to the Visitor Centre.
