Description

The Hanzestedenpad (the name is inspired by cities that historically worked together regarding trade) is a 124 km point to point route that is an original regional path (RP 11) in the Netherlands and is hence documented very well (see website and book suggestions below). It is fully marked by yellow-red markers. Furthermore it is easily accessible with many train stations along the route. The trail starts in the beautiful and historical city of Doesburg and follows the gorgeous Ijssel river and valley towards the finish in Kampen, another historically important city.

Description

Circular route taking in the rolling countryside of Herefordshire. Mainly on trails with some roads. 248km distance with 5327m vert.

This is a fantastic route taking in all the beauty of Herefordshire from hills, rivers, quiet villages, countless apple orchards and looking across to the Brecon Beacons. This route is fairly new and has been created over many years by joining up existing footpaths into an epic circular route.
