After crossing Brugg's old town, the first uphill stretch to the Vier Linden country guesthouse embedded in the Jurapark, and via the forest to the ancient as well as legendary Linner Linde (linden tree). On uphill through shady forests to the Schenkenberg ruins, seen from afar, and on to Staffelegg.

The hike begins in Mosen, at the south end of Lake Hallwil. Much of the lakeshore has remained undeveloped and thus offers an ideal recreation area for hikers and walkers with the intact flora and fauna of the Seetal region. The tour takes about five hours, with most of the trail directly on the lakeshore. Diverse boat piers offer the possibility of shortening the hike.

The Route Described here will take you from Ninde (Tremelo) from the hometown of Father Damien all the way to Scherpenheuvel.  Before heading out to Molokai Father Damien went on foot to Scherpenheuvel where he said goodbye to his mother and stepsister. The Route starts at the father Damien museum (which was his birthhome) and takes you through silent and magnificent roads all the way to Scherpenheuvel.
