The Glasshouse Mountains are synonymous with the Sunshine Coast hinterland and so significant they are Queensland and National Heritage Register as a landscape of national significance. They were a meeting place for our Indigenous people where they gathered for ceremonies and trading. The mountains are of spiritual significance to the Aboriginal people and are truly a magnificent place to run or hike.

Run across the state of Vermont via any legal route between the border of New York and Vermont, and the border of Vermont and New Hampshire. A route across this state should take advantage of the state's beautiful Green Mountain Range and the state's historic downtowns. One should also consider exploring the iconic Appalachian and Long Trail. 

Cat and Thomas Mountain loop, containing two of the Lake George 12ster peaks, is a fun and beautiful loop with rewarding views at both summits. The section headed up Thomas is short with a steady climb. The route up Cat is wide, rocky and hardy, and the backside trail between Cat and Thomas is more gnarly and remote. A fun mix of everything! Note there are two ways used for the descent - this is due to new trail vs. old trail and doesn’t appreciably change distance so you can choose either.

Nestled between the majestic mountains of the Spiti Valley, Chandra Taal or moon Lake is a 2.5 km wide fresh water lake that beckons tourists from all over the world.

At an astounding altitude of 14100 feet, chandra Taal is strategically located at a distance of 9 km from Kunzum Pass in the Spiti Valley. It is surrounded by the expansive grassy land which was a glacier once. It was also a popular trading spot for traders from Tibet and Ladakh.

It’s proximity from Manali, the picturesque tourist locale, makes it a hotspot for trekkers and travellers alike.
